Kent and I got to go back to Telluride Colorado again this year.
More than 2 weeks together in the mountains. It was wonderful.
The Neuromorphs
entered Brainzilla in the Fourth of July Parade. The kids all
floated along. Kent later enjoyed the kids contests at the town
park. We spent a lot of time with Waloodi.
Even the Telluride Academy got into the dress-up spirit. One
day many of the kids came back dressed up as robots.
Lots of fun things to after camp and work.
We wore the boys out. They were happy to stay home and color.
Kent spent two days climbing with San Juan
Outdoor School. He had a blast!

Shihab ran and finished the Hardrock
100 (100 miles of running, 33000 feet of climbing, no sleep for 48
hours). We got to see him as he ran through Telluride.
We took the boys to the Durango
and Silverton Narrow-Guage Railroad.
We went as far as the Needleton stop so we could explore the mountains.
We didn't go very far--just far enough to find a creek where a beaver
had cut down some trees.
We camped on Sunshine
Mesa, with views up valley towards Wilson Peak (right) and Mt.
Wilson (left).
Kent enjoyed the underground mine tour at the Bachelor-Syracuse mine in
Ouray, Colorado. (On the way to Telluride we stopped in Leadville
to see the mining museum there. Kent especially enjoyed the
underground exhibits.)
After Telluride we spent a weekend in Fort Collins with the
Osborns. We all had a grand time.
We spent a day at WaterWorld
in Denver
Kent enjoyed playing in the water.
It was hard to leave Colorado. Kent wanted to say hello to the
pilot. The pilot plopped Kent into his seat and told Dad "fork over the
camera." Kent was happy. Thanks Frontier.
